Compulsions

Compulsions are behaviors or mental acts that a person feels driven to do in order to lessen their anxiety. Carrying out these routines, such as hand-washing and counting, may offer the person temporary relief from anxiety, but they do not get rid of the obsessions.

Reducing Symptoms

Some people with OCD experience both obsessions and compulsions, while others only have one or the other. The thoughts or behavior of someone with OCD cause significant stress or interfere with their ability to function.

Other areas of treatment include Depression, Self-Esteem, Life Transitions, Grief, Attachment Issues, and ADHD.
