Professional Statement
With over 13 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe in creating a non-judgmental space where true healing can take place. My goal is to help you break free from negative cycles and develop practical skills to manage distress.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), PTSD/CPTSD, anxiety, depression, and attachment/relationship issues. My approach is gentle but direct, ensuring that you feel supported while making meaningful progress. Whether you're struggling with overwhelming emotions, past trauma, or difficulty in relationships, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence.

The subtypes of OCD that I am most familiar with are Harm OCD, Contamination OCD, Perinatal/postpartum OCD, "Just Right" OCD, and Relationship OCD. I can utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).

For those experiencing symptoms of trauma, EMDR is also an option.

Additional areas that I've worked with clients in are:
-ADHD
-Anger Management
-Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT informed Skills)
-Body Image
-Bipolar
-Caregiver stress and support
-Codependency
-Domestic Violence
-Self Harm
-Phobias
Message to clients
In therapy, I take the time to truly understand you and your needs. Our first session will focus on exploring your experiences and setting goals that feel right for you. While I may provide therapeutic exercises between sessions if beneficial, my priority is tailoring therapy to fit your unique situation.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about your next steps, therapy can be a transformative tool. Let’s work together to help you regain clarity and strength.

Therapy is your space to show up exactly as you are—no pressure, no judgment. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating past wounds, or just trying to make sense of things, I want you to know that change is possible. Our work together will be about exploring what’s holding you back, making sense of your experiences, and finding new ways to move forward.

You don’t have to have all the answers before you start therapy. You don’t even need to know exactly what you want from it yet. Together, we’ll figure out what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to shift so that you can feel more at ease in your life. I will offer insights, ask meaningful questions, and help you connect the dots in a way that brings clarity and self-understanding.

This is a process, and it doesn’t have to be done alone. If you're ready to start, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
